Will Monaghan is a Scottish artist living and working in Dorset, England. With an early career in design and technical illustration, working digitally came naturally. His practice has gradually evolved through studies in Fine Art and Painting at the Open College of the Arts, and now spans drawing, painting and printmaking, particularly multi-plate drypoint, where different metals produce varied line qualities that feel close to his drawing practice.

Landscape, particularly the wild terrains of Dartmoor, the Jurassic Coast in Dorset and West Cornwall, is a recurring focus, approached through texture, atmosphere and layered surfaces rather than direct depiction. His printmaking has developed a particular focus on coastal environments.

He is a member of Dorset Visual Arts and Poole Printmakers, exhibiting with the group, with work selling and being selected for promotional material. His practice continues to explore how analogue and digital methods intersect, embracing both control and chance to evoke imagined and remembered places.
